The age old question remains:
Which came first? The chicken or the egg?
What we today call a chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) evolved through mutation like anything else. Before evolving to today's form, the chicken ancestor would have been bearing eggs as well. Thus, the first evolved chicken was delivered through an egg. Makes sense right?
So there you have it folks. The egg came first.

CFA Test Approaching
I decided a few months back to go for the CFA designation both as a learning opportunity and as a way to enhance my business qualifications and start drawing a different picture of myself, one that does not look just like an informatics guy.
After spending a lot of time on the material I can say two things. a) The material is quite easy and b) The material is A LOT! And the quantity is what makes it challenging. Nonetheless, I am finding the material very useful in understanding how the world works. Money certainly makes the world go round and the CFA curriculum covers the fundamentals in everything related to investments which in turn affect politics etc.
The exam is on the 1st of June and I hope I will pass it as it is very expensive but in any case it has been very educative and great preparation for my upcoming MBA studies. I will dare to say that I think it would be a good idea for anyone studying engineering (or other non-finance related courses) to study and take the CFA during their undergraduate studies. If I knew better I would have done it myself.
